Shipping Policy

Thank you so much for shopping with A Bit Of Pretty! Many of the pieces in my shop are handmade, sewn, or carefully prepared by me in my small home studio in Canada. I take great care in creating and packaging each order so it arrives ready for you to enjoy.

1. Processing Times

Because many A Bit Of Pretty items are handmade or produced in small batches, processing times may vary depending on the item.

  • Ready-to-Ship Items: Typically ship within 2–4 business days.

  • Made-to-Order Items: Please refer to the individual product listing for the current estimated processing time.

  • Busy & Holiday Seasons: Processing times may occasionally be slightly longer during new releases, seasonal collections, and holidays.

Please note that processing time is separate from shipping/transit time. Your estimated delivery time is the processing time plus the carrier’s shipping time.

2. Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates

Orders are carefully packaged and shipped from British Columbia, Canada.

Shipping rates are calculated based on the destination, package size, and shipping service selected. The exact shipping cost and available delivery options will be displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.

Estimated transit times vary by destination and shipping service. Please keep in mind that carrier delays, customs processing, weather, holidays, and other circumstances outside of A Bit Of Pretty’s control may affect delivery times.

3. International Orders

International customers are responsible for any applicable customs duties, import taxes, tariffs, brokerage fees, or other charges imposed by their country.

These charges are not included in the product price or shipping fee unless specifically stated at checkout.

4. Tracking

When tracking is included with your selected shipping service, you will receive tracking information once your order has been packaged and shipped.

Please allow a short period of time for tracking information to update after your shipping confirmation is sent.

5. Shipping Addresses

Please double-check your shipping address before completing your order. A Bit Of Pretty cannot be responsible for packages that are delayed, returned, or delivered incorrectly because an incorrect or incomplete address was provided at checkout.

If you notice an error in your address, please contact me as soon as possible. If your order has not yet shipped, I will do my best to update it.

6. Lost, Delayed or Damaged Packages

Once an order has been accepted by the shipping carrier, delivery times and handling are outside of my direct control. However, if you experience an issue with your shipment, please contact me and I will do my best to help you determine the appropriate next steps.

If your order arrives damaged, please contact me promptly and include photos of the packaging and damaged item so I can assist you.

Digital Products

Digital downloads, printable templates, and other digital products do not require shipping. These products are delivered electronically according to the instructions provided with the product listing.
